Holmes beat Carl "the truth" Williams in a controversial decision in 85, in his next defence holmes lost to Michael spinks. What if Williams had beaten holmes? If Carl decides to fight spinks next does spinks pull off the upset or is the truth remaining champ in this one?

Very, very tough fight for Spinks. It's all about styles and weaponry.

    Very interesting fight.

I cant actually pick a winner.

Williams has the size advantage, but Spinks was skilled enough to handle that.

    It's a 50-50 fight.
Williams was similar in style to Holmes, and proved he was about as good as the 1985 Holmes.
Williams was far more vulnerable in the chin than Holmes was, but generally left hands were his downfall.
I think this goes the distance anyway. A close fight.

Yeah I'm undecided. Best I can do is pick Spinks based on accomplishment but that can only go so far.

Spinks was better and the harder puncher (Size wasn't a problem considering Spinks destroyed the 6'5" Conney
easily.) M. Spinks very underrated here it's easy to see why.

Spinks loses to Williams by unanimous decision. There was a reason Michael didn't fight Tony Tucker. And Carl would show him why. Especially with that jab.

Holmes defeatted Williams on 2 weeks notice.

Holmes only lost to Spinks bc its a fight he wasnt actually suppossed to take by Doctors of a pinch nerve and advised not to throw to many right hands or it could lead to serious nerve damage.

Williams would most likely win ,he had a great jab and when on point was very hard to fight.Against a non power puncher he would have less to worry about, and Spinks aint out jabbing Williams.I think he controls the fight with the jab the same manner Holmes did to him ( a fight he won the second time)

    Im going with williams here.

Carl lost a close controversial dec to Holmes. Carl had trouble with big
punchers but nothing to fear here. Carl text book jab would be too
much for a awkward Spinks. Carl on pts.
