Clottey just went into punch bag mode after round 4. That is one of the advantages of this style of defence, you take very little punishment.

Well if it works in spts but not a whole fight or career. Lara, Guillermo, and a few names I'm forgetting will still use it at times. Rios does it though he does it to walk his opponent down not for defensive purposes. Guy is not one for defense. Maidana uses it I think but again gets hit too much.

I did and most of those punches hit Wrights arms thus were not landing punches. Soliman got picked apart though he was brave and had his moments. P Will would land very clean on him as he did regardless what stage Wright would be in and keep him turtle'd up. Vargas but mainly Vasquez gave Wright his toughest fights whether you think Vargas won or not. Wright schooled him at times but had to work hard for that fight. Vargas IQ as a puncher underrated though he did get hit too much.
