He's got nowhere to run now, no more tomato cans left, he went though them all lol. Anyone else find this hilarious? After the 3rd Golovkin fight he's gonna have to rematch Bivol and will lose again. If he pays off the judges and they somehow rob Bivol he'll have to fight Beterbiev lol. I think we can all admit that he would get absolutely smashed by Artur within 6 to 8 rounds. If he's too small for 175 anymore he'll have to face Benavidez, Charlo or Andrade. Canelo will not retire with only 2 loses on his resume, that's for sure.

Why? He can keep fighting at 160/168 and do well there?

He's also getting older and slower and he relies heavily on hand and slipping speed and his reflexes.

Canelo's weaknesses have always been there but it's taken a bigger man with faster feet to expose them.
He will still do well at 160/168 but he has had a long career and it's wouldn't be a surprise to see the weight hopping catching up with him.
I still think he will dominate at 160/168 for another couple of years but by the times he's 33 he's going to have had well over 60 fights and while he's never taken huge beatings the mileage is going to add up. If he's still a major belt holder and dominating division by the time he's 35 I would be suprised.

I can't wait to see Canelo knocked out. It has been a long time coming. I hope 40 year old GGG does what Cottos brother started.. Finishes him. I want to see an embarrassing style KO loss like Zab Judah against Tszyu or Badou Jack falling on his face in front of Mayweather. Clenelo deserves it

Benavides will be tough for Canelo to beat. I don't think Canelo will entertain going down to 160, he's done with making weight for that division.

I have always said that Canelo would likely be past his prime by 35.

Canelo is a throwback Mexican fighter who started fighting pro at 15 years of age and fights multiple times a year.

Erik Morales was pretty much shot by 27, Canelo will probably be shot by 35, maybe sooner.

Either way Canelo will go down as one of the best Mexican greats, and as an ATG fighter who did what very few have.

He's on the backside of prime but will be world class into his mid-30s. But he won't be PfP for more than another year or two. He has a lot of mileage on him and his boxing ability has deteriorated as he has fallen in love with his defensive reflexes and power.

Canelo will get hurt in this fight! GGG will most likely get hurt as well, this will be no cake walk!

Hopefully benavidez will be next. And if Jermall ever does anything in the division, he can get it after.

Canelo retires at 34 with at least a couple more losses.
