Robinson via close but, comfortable decision, he would outbox Leonard for the first 10 or so rounds and would then go for the knock out getting, drawn in and Leonard would capitalize on this making it closer than it should have been.
Robinson was a stronger MW than Leonard, the higher the weight the more advantage for Robinson IMO. Id say Robinson wins at 147 too, he is taller, has the longer reach, is just as fast, is just as tough & hits harder with both hands... no doubt SRL would be his toughest fight at 147 but Robinson was just a killer in his prime, an all round dangerous mofo, lethal.
They would box on even terms IMO but Robinson would get the better of it when both went to war... I see SRL hanging in there tho & in no way being embarassed, it would be a war but a war that Robinson`s 2 handed power advantage gives him the edge in a close UD.
Sugar Ray win! :happy:happy:happy:happy:tong. That's never going to get old is it? So realistictly I think we are looking at a real close fight. That could go either way. I think Robinson has the advantage as far as abillity goes but Leonard is not too far behind. They are about the same size. Robinson has more fights at his 147 peak but the quility of Leonard's oppoents in Duran, Hearns and Benitez are going to be hard for Robinson to match with any three from his resume at 147.
