Fury won 98-92 but everyone (including me,) seems to think Mcdermott should have got it. I had it 7-3 to Mcdermott.

I had it close and im being unbiased. Reason i had it close it because Watt and Smith the commentators were praising all Mcdermotts work and none of Furys and Mcdermotts holdig was annoying. 98-92 is a joke...it had to be a Fury win by a point if you gave it to Tyson.

I had McDermott 97-93 but there were a few rounds that could have gone either way. Even if Fury had got all of them 98-92 is ridiculous.

I'm still pleased Fury won and I think it'll be good for him to get a full 10 rounds under his belt.

    Spot on.

I had it a draw but i don't like Mcdermotts holding so i was leaning to Fury but listening to Sky i wasn't given any hope....but O'Connor shocked me totally.

I'm proud of Tyson tonight. He boxed well ish early on then went to pot at times.

He needs to throw a straight right hand. Block jab with right hand and use jab more and make it pay..plus he needs to be better conditioned but all young fighters have close hard fights...some are jumping gun...it was close and imo i have no probs it going to Mcdermott or Fury...but the score was a joke.

Fair enough, I thought Fury was worse than Mcdermott for holding in the last few rounds though as he got tired.

I thought that the fact the bookies were lengthening the odds on Fury as the fight went on was significant. I always thought Fury would get the benefit of the doubt if the rounds were close but the bookies must also have thought Mcdermott was winning most of them clearly.

I think Fury would win a re-match though. Even though I'd say he lost it, was a step up in class for him and he was out-manouvered but not out his depth. Now he knows what Mcdermott is about he'd do better next time.

I was completely stunned when the ref raised Fury's hand - I thought he lost clearly and the scorecard was one of the worst I've ever seen.

I admire the fact Fury is testing himself so early in his career but he lost that fight.
