    Well, the wheels almost came off the trailer there:lol:.

    Certainly not a nobbery, IMHO- the Brit fourm has gone into a frenzy ATM.

    I think McDermott did enough to win. What is clearly evident is that this was way too soon for Fury, IMO. 10 rounds was evidently too much too soon. Hopefully there will be a rematch. I don't see Fury fighting for the Irish title now, though. He's gonna need a rest and he tok some big shots as well.

    I totally agree with you Losfer.

    I was happy with Fury even when i thought he would lose. It yet another case of what you like. I think by round 4 i was thinking this is way to soon and a risk not needed...but boy did he show grit....he stood up to solid shots and gave some back. People who think he will fight like that next time must be crazy...i see Tyson getting better.

    Everyone get on board...he may of won a iffy decision but he showed heart and some skills. The trailer ain't getting petrol bombed your all safe...for now :lol:

    I think this was a big step for Fury, regardless of the controversy.

    Having never gone four rounds to going a full ten is massive, especially a hard ten like that....

    McDermott was the aggressor, but there was plenty of holding and bull**** commentary IMO.

    Not that hard to give Fury five rounds - but not eight!

    I'm using the General Forum as my sanctuary!

    WTF!

    Agree with all of that, Beeston:good. Funny like you say how we've come to the general as sanctuary!:lol: Fury certainly showed a lot of grit and heart- even had he lost it would still have been a very positive performance, IMO.

    Totally agree Beeston.

    The holding had me going ape**** mate. I was actually going at O'connor over that then he held his arm aloft i was thinking wtf...this a joke :lol:.

    People should watch the fight with sound down...Watt and Smith tried brainwash everyone...rarely they Praise Tysons work.

    Even being generous and giving Fury the first round the best I can get it for him is 96-94 and thats being really really generous
    98-92 oh deary deary me, ref must have sheat in his eyes!

    You give Fury one of the first two, then both of the last two..... he won at least two of the other six, IMO.

    Sky have been pumping McDermott for a while, and Fury is an ITV fighter - so watch the fight again on silent (as I did pretty much throughout) and you will see it was very close.

    The only rounds I gave Fury were the 2, 6 & 10 but I thought he could have got 5 & 9. I don't see where the other three come from.

    I gave him 1 and 2 but i know people gave it to Mcdermott..i had different feelings early on. Early on going into round 5 i had it 2-2.

    Ill be honest I dont really pay much attention to watts and the other fella because I usually disagree with alot of their crap anyway.
    Mcdermott was busier landed the more telling punches and dictated the fight for me,apart from the first couple and last couple of rounds which were close,,
    Fury showed alot of heart and I give him big credit fighting 10 rounds at this level in only his 8th fight but IMO he lost clearly and I dont think that will change no matter how many times I watch it..
