What, McDermott easily won that fight that was a robbery and i like Tyson Fury as well .........

While I understand you having McDermott winning that fight and possibly winning the fight by quite a few rounds it was by no means easy. It was a hard fought bout with a lot of close rounds, and I ended up giving pretty much all of these to Fury (I genuinely believed he deserved to take them), leaving my final scorecard at 5 rounds a piece and 95-95. I by no means could have given him another round to win the fight, so the victory was not just but ignoring 95-95 as a conceivable score is nonsense.

In the polls on these forums after the fight McDermott was an overwhelming winner in the peoples minds, but a lot of people also had a draw (more so than had Fury winning) which is quite strange on polls even after a close fight. A lot of the people who complained about the decision afterwards and even had McDermott winning said they could see a draw.

I think if you were to watch the fight back, and possibly mute Jim Watt as his famboyism for John McDermott is unparalleled, you might score the fight the same way as you did before, you might see it 97-93 McDermott or whatever, but you'll also so how there were 5 rounds there that Fury conceivably won and while you may not agree with it, you'll understand it.

98-92 was without doubt a joke, Fury winning was indeed unjust, but I think it's little revisionist to simply dismiss the fight as a robbery which McDermott clearly won. Fortunately Fury put the matter to bed with the rematch and the debate has become somewhat obsolete.

No sorry i think it was a bad robbery.......... Terry o connar was a ****ing disgrace he walked away with a heavy pocket after that fight, i have rewatched it three times and without a doubt McDermot was the clear winner by a country mile Tyson Fury was outboxed simple as that...... Tyson fury lost that fight but had him sussed in the second bout....
