Chris Byrd, John Ruiz, James Toney, Roy Jones Jr, Nikolai Valuev, Oleg Maskaev, Hasim Rahman, David Tua, Michael Moorer, Fres Oquendo, Evander Holyfield
A lot of Tyson's fall off was due to conditioning and he appeared to be in shape for Ettienne, but it only lasted about a minute, so it's impossible to say. Other than Moorer getting stopped in one.
Etienne 100% decided to just quit and take the payday, he got clipped for sure but I don't know if I would say Tyson actually demolished him as compared to like Botha Holyfield is obviously the safest bet to beat him
He broke his back, his back was broken, spinal, so I don't think he would do that good against the top guys.
That version of Tyson is going to have serious mental problems in fights if they go beyond 5 rounds because he lacks heart and stamina.
Byrd survives one or two rocky moments early on and then outboxes Tyson every round and wins a comfortable decision, 11-1. Tua stops this version of Tyson after 6-8 rounds of cumulative damage. Toney outboxes him comfortably. Rahman beats him comfortably. Jones Jr stays away from him for 5-6 rounds and then outboxes him. Valeuv outlasts him. Tyson stops Moorer. Maskaev survived nearly the full distance vs Tua so be probably survives early rounds and beats Tyson by decision. Seriously, almost all of these guys beat Tyson.
Clifford E was the perfect style opponent for Tyson and that was why he was selected as the opponent. A wide puncher that threw wide hooks with both hands. Wide open defensively. Everything telegraphed. Then add to it zero head movement and leaning in.
Loses to Byrd, beats Ruiz, loses to Toney, beats Jones, beats Valuev, beats Maskaev, beats Rahman, loses to Tua, beats Moorer, beats Oquendo and loses to Holyfield.
Some of those guys beat him for Def. Tyson had really gone back. If you could survive at least 4-5 rounds then the old lungs started heaving a bit.
