All I hope is that Wanderlei vs Akiyama isnt the main event. How many fights does Wanderlei need to lose to stop getting main events ?

there is not one MMA a fighter in Australia that nobody knows about, Australia has zero top MMA fighters, your joking right, jones v green is going to be a 5 million dollar plus fight and your talking all this **** about boxing, the biggest PPV sales in Australia sport is boxing by a country mile, green v MUndine did 150 000 buys, that would be more than ever UFC PPV in shown in Australia.

Mayweather v Marquez got delayed for Franklin v Belfort, what's your point?? Maybe they saw all the $$$ they lost from delaying UFC 100? Or maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with that and Vic's fight date was simply finalised before UFC's date??

  12. in less than 104 shows this new sport has posed a substantial(ly increasing) threat to boxings fanbase, ratings and revenue, integrity and basically puting every aspect of the centuries old sport under scrutiny.

anyone who wants to fudge certain facts and stats together to make an arguement is either a) ignorant as all **** b) delusional c) just staying blindly loyal to the sport they love.

C might be more respectful than the latter but if the future of boxing is to thrive and survive some people need to face reality and make some changes.

What about MMA all fights are on PPV and it is controlled by one company and they have there own title, a promotion company with there own title, it is a joke and there fights are that under paided it is a joke at best, boxing has problems, but MMA is worst, it is controlled by one company who are bullies and has a fool as its head, who abuses and attacks anybody who ? him.
Boxing major problem is to many Titles, another than that it is doing alright, fighters have options in this sport with a lot of promoters and TV companies to do business with, MMA you have one UFC and all they do id try to destroy and crush anybody who gets in there way, strike force will be destroyed soon, White is trying to undermine them with Viacom and owner's of showtime and CBS. All this smoke and mirrors with rubbish that White said about boxing is done, so people don't look to hard at his sport.

Which is ripping the fans off with all these PPV and there fighter who are that under paided it is a crime, considering this is a dangerous sport and a fighter could get hurt and have there life turned upside down at anytime in the cage or ring
