You can always rely on Dan to talk a bit of **** !!!!!!!! , on the contrary i actually agree with him totally on where Koscheck lies in the title picture , just as the girl asked him what the beans where about i was about to point out that only Hardy could sit there with an orange and a can of Heinz baked beans and hold a conversation !!!! ****in funny man , British humour i suppose !!!!! Hardy W Koscheck KO rnd 2 :deal
Good thing you don't run a sportsbook. GSP takedown attempts vs Hardy: 10 GSP takedowns completed vs Hardy: 10 Hardy is a complete non factor, a fringe top 10 fighter at absolute best. If Hardy wasn't born in a market that the UFC was trying to penetrate he would be fighting undercard fights off air. Koscheck would win that fight easier than one of his training sessions.
A slight under estimation of Dan Hardy i think :nut What an idiot atsch But yeah for what its worth i do actually agree with you , Kos by UD for me , but your still a dick ..................
Where do you put him in the scheme of the 170 division? He has a split decision over Davis and a decision over Swick.
Id say in the current climate he'd have to rank top echelon , i dont think any of the judges should of gave a decision to Davis and im being completley honest there , i thought his win at the time against Swick was very very big until Swick got dominated by Thiago !!!!! Its difficuilt to place Hardy right now , as it is with most WW's , his fight with GSP went the same way as Fitch , Alves , Penn & all the others so that cannot be a yard stick , a simple answer to your question is that id have in the top echelon , although i beleive fighters like Saunders , Condit , Almeida & Co give him all he can handle , im really not sure , any fighter who puts a win streak of 3 or 4 in that division become stand outs , Hardy was on a nice little 3 fight streak until GSP lets see if he can continue that .............. What about you ???
I'd say around 7th depending if you count Nick Diaz as a 170 fighter, somewhere in the group of guys that aren't true contenders but good. Not neccesarily in order you have GSP, Fitch, Koscheck, Diaz, Alves, Thiago,
Well i suppose you see that as a fair assesment in your eyes , for fighters who are non wrestlers i.e. there base discipline , i see Hardy as a real handfull for any of them barring Thiago Alves , i mean Dan Hardy's stand up is excellent man , you cannot take that away from the guy , his stand up is top echelon in the division , he beat Swick convincingly so for me deserves a place in the upper echelon of the division right at this moment in time , but like ive eluded too anybody who puts a 3 fight win streak together in a division so deep as the WW division instantly becomes a stand out . As we speak all the top tier WW's are tied up in future bouts so Hardy is just in no mans land presently , will be interesting to see who they match him with next considering he'll be topping the bill in the UK .
His boxing is very very good, I would like to see him throw a bit more often, but that obviously has risks.
