Yea they want Chuck to have the belt soo bad.

Chucks opponenets in the UFC before he got a title shot
Monson, Randleman, Bustamante, Suloev, Belfort, Babalu, loss to Randy, Tito, Vernon White, then finally a title shot against Randy.

    Lyoto
Sam Hoger, David Heath, Nakamura, Soko, Tito.

    Poor baby.

They do. If Chuck beats Evans , he'll have a direct shot at Griffin.
What they should do is give Machida a title shot or a rematch (jackson vs griffin II).

Or , they should have Liddell vs machida.

Sure i made a mistake , it wasn't Vernon. But it's irrelevant because they are biased. For example , why did they gave couture a free title fight pass vs Sylvia ?...

Machida is undefeated in the ufc. Liddell lost twice , once against jackson & another vs Jardine...then he won against wanderlei...

We're in 2008 , not 2004 or (wtf you're even mentioning Monson ? man that was 8 years ago )

i admitted my mistake in my previous message. My point still stands. If Liddell gets a title shot after his fight vs Evans then it's a clear sign of favoritism.

Your real beef should be with Jardine. If he didn't lose every other fight while beating top guys in every other fight things would be a lot less weird. If he'd have just lost to Griffin and Liddell, Liddell would deserve a shot right now. If he had just beaten Silva and Alexander, he'd deserve one.

That said, you're acting like Machida has already beat a bunch of A level guys. Oritz hasn't been A level in a while and Sokudju (sp?) hasn't shown he's one either. Granted Machida has looked good, but he needs to beat a guy like Evans or one of the Silvas to really earn it.

What happens if Griffin continues his upset train and defeats Liddell?

You could say it for sure but you gotta look at it from the UFCs point of view bro that is a huge fight and might just break the PPV record for MMA. Now sure im not all about money but you do gotta put yourselfs in the UFCs postion **** man I wanted wanna give Machida a title shot because theres a great chance he wins and right now I think they wanna do there best to prevent that. Hes had 2 nice wins in a row vs Soko and Tito but its not like Chuck isnt deserving as well man look at his Championship run of 05-06 and Wanderlei and Evans are exactly chumps. Aside from Chuck and Machida the only guy with a real case for a title shot right now is Rampage and the UFC doesnt normally give rematches although I believe that fight should be happening before anything its a close fight. Anyway im just looking at the postive man we might be getting to see something very nice within the next year after Liddell/Evans vs Griffin,Rampage vs Wand 3,T.Silva and Machida.

He will probablly face Rampage-Wandy winner if that fight comes off. Whats crazy is he already beat Rampage so you gotta give him a shot of course and styles wise I think he could give Wandy some serious problems. I gotta be real if you tell me in April 05 that Forrest would even give Tito Ortiz a tough fight let alone beat up Shogun and then Rampage id say shut the **** up and never watch MMA agian idiot. Back then he seemed just like a brawler nothing more nothing less. Now hes developed decent outside boxing skills, solid Muay Thai skills, fantastic cardio, good takedown defense and solid submissions im very impressed with his activty when another opponet is in his guard.

Ok , let's talk about ortiz then...Machida totally nullified him...

Now you're saying that machida needs to beat a guy like evans ?
You're talking about "the" evans ? the one who went to a draw vs Ortiz ?

If we're gonna settle for the ortiz arguement...then Evans didn't do any better Than machida.

Then good for him but that's not the point. (at least not the one i was talking about)...I don't care who Griffin beats... The point is Chuck shouldn't get the opportunity to fight for the title if he beats Evans.

    From that perspective...yeah , i understand it perfectly...But that's still a big problem. They're not neutral.
maybe you're gonna tell me that they do the same **** in all sports. Ok but it's even more blatant in the ufc.

I dont know man I dont see the problem with it. I know you have brought up Sylvia-Couture a couple times the last few days and although im a Randy nuthugger pretty much ill agree how do you get a title shot a weight class above the one you just got KTFO out 2 times in less then a year and coming off retirement at that ? Its his name though and yes the UFC favortisim. But this is different man Liddell would be coming off wins over Silva and Evans so its justified.

Wins over Evans and Wandy are just as impressive as wins over Soko and Ortiz( who hasn't done **** in years)....Not to mention chuck finished Tito twice Machida had to UD him. I think if Chuck get's by Evans then chuck vs Griffin would be perfect and Machida vs T.Silva would get the next shot.Being a former champ does give you some benifits, same goes for boxing.
