The UFC won't let connor lose.

If I was in vegas I'd bet big on connor, there's no way the UFC can take 2 huge hits back to back. Holly looked horrible in her other UFC fights, so they didnt expect Ronda to get stopped like that. Aldo is the clear favorite resume wise, but the guy doesnt bring in even close to the amount of money connor does. Dana White probably offered Jose a retirement deal. If Connor loses the UFC only has Jon Jones who left who sells over 500k+ PPV.

McGregor did over 4 times the PPV against Jose's leftovers. This PPV should definitely do far over 1m. Connor fanboys are going to cry at this thread, but if you think logically there's just no way the UFC can take a huge hit. Who knows when Jones will be back, and Jones never had the potential to sell PPVs like McGregor does. Aldo will never be a true PPV star.

 

Oh and when I say retirement deal, I mean a nice lump of money, not that he literally retires, I know some of you connor fan boys are going to cry about how Aldo is still young and in his prime.

 

I don't know enough about the MMA to actually rate guys. There are just far too many aspects in the game, jiu jitsu, wrestling, mua thai etc for me to have a clue on who's the better fighter. But financially, common sense tells us that if McGregor loses the UFC will take a MAJOR hit. Jones will be the only ppv star left, and he's an unreliable cokehead who probably will never do McGregor numbers. I can't see the UFC taking 2 major hits, if Aldo does pull it out, I'll definitely take UFC far more seriously.

I expect a fishy ko or a submission. It isn't hard to fake a submission.

I assumed that Aldo was in his prime due to his age, and him still being undefeated. Maybe I'm wrong, like I said I don't claim to be a MMA expert and you dont know **** about teh sport either. Chael Sonnen said it best, there are far too many aspects in the game for the casual viewers to understand the sport. But apparnetly everyone is an expert , at least I'm honest, I dont know jack **** about jiu jitsu, wrestling, mua thai, judo etc.

 

Like I said, i dont know enough about the UFC to rate either of their skills. But to me financially I just dont see the UFC taking 2 huge financial hits. If McGregor gets exposed his PPV numbers drop drastically, he'll still be a PPV star, and a rematch would do good numbers but the illusion he created will be gone. If Dana offers him 5mill+ which he'll easily make back on Connor, then I don't see aldo not taking the money. Connor will easily do more 1m+ ppvs which bring in 50-100m dollars.

 

Aldo averages around a 200k payday, you think he wouldn't take a 5m+ payday from dana? McGregor would easily make that money back for Dana.
