The UK Vs Mexico who has the better fighters?

Mexico has better fighters but I feel like most of them are middleweight or lighter.

So if you did a 1 fighter per division UK would win because we have midgets AND fatties.

 

Huh, Mexicans are usually softer in the body than most fighters. Talking about fatties.

LW: Ken Buchanan loses to a bunch of Mexicans.
JWW: Hatton/Taylor/Khan - Chavez wrecks us.
WW: Ted Lewis/Mclarnin/Brookes? We might have a chance against Chavez or JMM. If Mexico wants to claim ODLH though then we’re fked.

JMW-SMW: I don’t recall any great JMW, but MW has Eubank, Benn, Fitzsimmons, Froch, Calzaghe all of whom would give Canelo hell, the only Mexican rep at that weight. Possible Canelo beats all of them except slappy.

Forgot about Vaca but don’t consider that a loss but he revenged in style knocking him with a beautiful right hand to the solar plexus.

 

Mexico has a population twice the size of the UK .. The average male it produces tends to be smaller than the UK too therefore they will naturally produce more lower weight fighters.. hence why they have more success at the lower weights, plus it is a much more impoverished & nation and will produce more hungrier fighters… but in terms of the bigger divisions the UK has had more success overall..

 

Mexico has produced many more great fighters throughout history. Parsing by division is just a way to level the playing field for the UK who just flat out has produced very few legitimately great fighters in comparison

At present UK are leading the way in WC despite having the much smaller population.
