look fighting for money doesn't mean that you need a licence. boxrec will only recognise actual sanctioned fights. even if there is something slightly out of place then it has a massive '!' next to it. even though the match was fighting only with gloves, 3X10 rounds and paid at the end. happens in mexico alot too, called something like 'rancho'. (a guy called javier varguez consider this an an amateur career) meaning that you fight professionally but without the extra sanctioning fees and bureaucracy coupled with it. even still it's clear that they are outclassed and even though they may have more fights they haven't competed with anyone close to that level.
