The Ultimate Wlad V Haye Brit Forum Poll

Wlad by late stoppage, sadly.

 

I grudgingly go for Wlad by stoppage.

The fight will mirror Lewis vs Rahman II, though would be slightly less one sided and go a round or two more.

For me, Vitali is an easier fight for Haye based upon a number of factors....

 

^ Wlad is incapable of an explosive stoppage like the one Lewis had over Rahman. His own fight with a much weaker Rahman showed us that.

 

I'd agree with that above.
In the other Brit poll I voted for Haye but maybe that was me voting with my heart.I do give Haye a good chance in this fight though

 

I'm going for Haye only because he copes with pressure well and his punches are more than enough to hurt Wlad, and he just needs one. Wlad's jabs should frighten him and force him to keep his hands higher....maybe!

Yeah I guess so. Was just thinking though that Haye will be firing back and leaving himself more open than Rahman was, he just seemed to sit on the ropes and wait for the ref to jump in.

 

Rahman comparison aside, Wlad generally softens his opponents with the jab then stops them late. Rarely do we see an explosive one punch KO from him, it's just not in his make up. Haye may give Wlad some problems early but Wlad has learnt to use his physical gifts to most effect and he'll stay out of trouble with the jab and bring in the right hands late.

 

I had a dream Haye knocked him out in one round. It was a shocking knockout, but obviously that aint going to happen.

 

Wlad stoppage.

 

He is physically capable, he just hasn't got the mental capability. I do have a nasty feeling that Haye will bring out the best in Wlad. :-(

Some British nuthuggery going on with regard this fight..... including from ESB's own Steve Bunce and Jamie Moore

 

Hayes problem is that to win he'll have to take chances to win, Wlad has the luxury of being able to win without taking chances.

 

They all picking Haye?

Anyway I'm going for Wlad by TKO. Between rounds 5 and 8.

It's not that I hate Wlad, far from it. I just want to see someone throw a spanner in the HW title scene.
