I'm tired of these boxing elitist. People like boxing for different reasons. You don't have to be a professor of the sweet science just to watch a fight. Those casual fans are what keeps boxing alive. You don't get over a million buys without them. These snobby elitist don't understand that.

hey where did everybody go LOL they must have watched this fight like oh **** is this going to happen if manny tries to "bring the offense" to floyd
should be a great fight if it happens on mar 13th but freddy roach know that fmj is a huge mountain to climb...so many styles and an excellent adjuster. i like how manny whips ass too though. i'm about to watch the cotto pac fight again!!

i agree to some extent..those elitist shouldn't look down on "casual fans" however they also should not allow those casual fans to get away with calling someone a runner when the boxer in this case fmj is clearly the most diverse and skilled fighters in boxing right now. instead of holding their nose up saying "oh you don't understand the sweet science" they can point out why he may have been "running", like being outweighed by 9 or 10lbs or point them to fights like the ndou fight where he wasn't "running" @ all etc.

When has JMM ever been KOd in his career? :patsch

JMM has a granite chin and is tough as nails.

I am a fan of both fighters, so some of these non-objective rants are a little annoying.

Pacman is going to be up against it in this fight. Mayweather`s style is all wrong for him IMO. Combine that with the physical advantages of Mayweather: 5 inches of reach, 2 inches of height, and I think we have a 8-4 UD for Mayweather or even a late TKO\stoppage if Pacquiao is taking too many clean punches.

The fighter that beats Mayweather will be bigger than him, have a good jab to neutralize his speed, and a devastating right hand. I think you would need a modern-day Tommy Hearns to beat Mayweather. Just IMO. I do not see Mayweather losing to somebody smaller than him with the skill sets that he has.

If Pacquiao pulls of this upset, it will be a decision victory due to Pacman outworking Floyd with his number of punches. I just do not believe Mayweather will be a willing target for Pacquiao, and his movement and angles will limit the punch count of Pacman.

I agree with the unfound hate for Floyd but this article lost me when the dude said cotto was a quitter and could have held on for a split dec win....cotto could not ****ing move,....he was beaten to near death with possibly plastered gloves....people who say he is a quitter are ****ing complete morons with no credibility...watch the pac fight...cotto would rather die in the ****ing ring than quit....if anything he has TOO MUCH HEART....why do people think they can call guys like cotto out as quitters and get any cred in an article...it makes no sense....cotto has been hurt BAD prob a dozen or more times and has always fought til he can't function...not oone person in here has any idea what he went through in his fights with margo torres corley shane or pac if u call him a quitter....just so ****ing stupid...and I am not even a huge cotto fan as i think floyd would ruin him

he was actually 1 lb under the ww limit...jmm was 3 lbs under and it is a huge statement to the unfounded hate and how impressive floyd is if ur argument is why floyd could not KO JMM when he won all 12 rds of the fight with ease....JMM is no slouch and floyd ****ING OWNED HIM FOR 12 RDS...that right there shows how good floyd really is....i know it is hard for you:deal

Whats your point? He fought like a chicken against Baldo and im pointing it out. Floyd waits on his opponents, if his opponents waited on him...we wouldnt have a boxing match....this is why credit is given to those who initiate aggresion.

Floyd KO Funeka. PW, Pac, Cotto, Mosley all give Floyd a tough'sh fight. If Hatton, past it DLH & Judah can more recently, Im sure those guys can.

he said Floyd came in 2lbs over the agreed weight, the agreed weight was 144, Floyd came in at 146...thus he DID come in 2lbs over the agreed weight.
