These guys are full fledged finishers, once they have you hurt- they take it out of the judges hands. Throw countless punches to get you out of there. A heart of a warrior, both of these men have, great finishing ability.

Love them both, 2 great fighters.

Ray Leonard has said before that he loved Wilder's style and how he saw a bit of himself in Wilder.

Wilder had Fury hurt and he didn't take it out of the judges hands, and then after that Wilders best opponent is probably worse than Leonards debut opponent, so not really an apt comparison is it

    What on Earth?
Is this BoxingIQ. MVC. or Olu?
I'm detecting someone wiith special needs in the room.
Short answer no. SRL ia an ATG. Wilder was a grossly overrated and untested puncher. The first time he faced a live body he failed on three attempts to finish. This is despite Fury having an average chin before the trilogy as was knocked down by a Cruiser beforehand.
Wilder although heavy handed lacks the skills to land that money shot against anyone mobile with decent skills.
We will never know. as he never took the other top guys on in the division.

Wilder has Fury unconscious on the canvas for 5 seconds but he got up because he's a literal god then Wilder smashed him with a left hook that rolled the eyes in his head but he didn't move.

Fury gets stronger the more you hurt him.

    Lol.

I think he's on a wind up mate.

Everyone with a hole in his arse knows that Wilder is more like Ali only better.

Nothing compares to Wilders natural and God given ring IQ, that super silky smooth footwork and huge, huge punch variety. How he delivers that monster punch without any obvious telegraphing I'll never know.

Ali's like a one trick pony compared to Wilders totally unlimited skills. Add in Wilders no nonsense, no excuses attitude to to losing on the night and he's almost the perfect textbook sportsman.

He's one hell of a guy.

EDIT: forgot to mention Wilder never ducked anyone and only ever fought the best.

Well that and modern nutrition. The sport has evolved massively on a year on year basis. The likes of Greb would be beaten by a 10 yr old girl with one leg. FACTS.

Ali would get battered by a top 500 Light Heavy today....SRR is untested as he only ever fought in B&W and never in colour. FACTS.

Wilder is that heavy handed that if he punched Ali all of Ali's family line would vanish from existence. thus creating a Grandfather Paradox.
    FACTS.

Oh we must never ever forget the modern nutrition aspect ever...it's the biggest single huge advantage modern fighters have over those of yesteryear...

Take a journeyman from the past and give him modern nutriton and he's almost guaranteed to be a world class fighter today.

Skills from the past simply don't come into it compared to modern nutrition and training methods.

Add in fighters today fight on a much more regular basis, there's none of this ducking and cherry picking nonsense. None of the behind the scenes politics going on like there was in the past. The likes of Wilder and Fury would fight twice a month given the choice.

For a modern example, look how quick and easy the Fury/Whyte was made just recently. No dramas, no money disputes etc.

I really feel blessed in the current modern fight era.

    Now that's a FACT

He did but corrupt referee saved Fury's ass. Fury was down for ages it's insane that the referee got away with this

Well and it's in HD and in colour...FACTS.
The reality is the old timers ate roadkill once a week if they were lucky. The rest of the time they ate toilet paper.
Boxers are miles fitter now as they can eat cheese burgers and kebabs all day evrery day and if they really want to healthy just have both with salad. Also the fighters now can just inject a load of PEDS and just sit on the coach and they'll grow magic muscles.
They don't need to do any of that stupid crap like road work. Why run when you can use a mobilty scooter ?
The fact that fighters now have bigger muscles should tell you that they smash all the old timers with ease.
I meann the bums anyway. how many PPV points did SRR get? None. then he was clearly not that good then was he?
