If not for the undercards, boxing fans will not this boring fight between a counterpuncher and a runner. That's why GBP will do everything much like scraping the bottom of the barrel to save the self-styled reputation of their fighter Floyd as the boxing's cash cow. The Pacquiao-Cotto fight on the other hand is a fight made in heaven. It's a fight between two fighters who are willing to fight and knock out each other (pardon the repetition of terms). They don't need a Tecate beer promo discount promo to sell this fight. The excitement written all over this fight will sell for itself.

"I hope the fans will embrace this because it is a very expensive undercard", said Richard Schaefer. Yeah, they have no choice but to spend to make this main event sell to the cynical boxing fans.

Seems to be that you were going to lose your sleep thinking about the PPV numbers of Floyd vs JMM.....

I guess if the fight does well then it will be obvious that it was because of the undercard...... right?????

Oooohhh.... what a release you might feel...... now you won't lose your sleep......

umm i would say hatton-pacquiao was also a "fight between two fighters who are willing to fight and knock out each other" as you so eloquently put it... and guess what, they had a tecate beer discount promo for that fight

I think the old school boxing PPVs of the 1980s were all stacked with great fights.

Multiple big names and great match ups per PPV.

It was a proper PPV event.

The undercard quality only deteriorated in the last few years.

PPV boxing events are supposed to be stacked.

The sad part of this all for these Pac fans is, they want Floyd-JMM to fail for some reason.

Just to claim that Pac is the bigger draw so he deserves more money!

But I thought it wasn't about the money?

Never had a problem with the PPVs here in the Philippines, though.

It's always shown for free on local TV.

UFC and HBO and Top rank PPVs.

    We arent really like that.

We dont all think the same.

Some of the guys do these types of threads to hit back, probably.

The entire card is good, real boxing fans don't need to be convinced to buy this, it's surely worth it if you know what the hell the two fighters are doing in the ring. If not, then UFC 1512 is up for grabs.
