jack johnson-overrated ,given to much credit for beating a shell of the former jeffries it would have been awsome to see prime vs prime instead of the starving dehydrated alfalfo farmer jack dempsey-underrated pretitle dempsey was aggresive, allusive, powerfull and unrelenting his boxing skills and power are unknown to almost everyone today jack sharkey who fought both louis and dempsey was convinced(if you put both men in a phonebooth dempsey alone would walk out) joe walcott-underrated you dont here his name or langfords name mentioned among greatist heavys much and they should be especially with todays heavys as pittifull as they are

Seems like no fighter is rated accordingly.

Oh forgot one. The bearded warrior John "the Quiet Man" Ruiz is also very underrated.

Tyson would anihilate Dempsey. I think Tyson gets a bit underrated these days, though was probably a tad overrated during his prime. He's a better heavyweight than Evander, though due to better consistency in his title years. Chavez isn't that overrated, the only time he was really 'soundly' beaten during his prime (in the eyes of most) was against Whitaker: no shame in that. I suppose you might have a point if we're talking about a few controversial wins.

Good call on McLarnin, Luigi. Tiger overrated: I don't think so, but hey.
