The Underrated/Overrated thread

Agreed on the pay. Historically, the HWs have captured public imagination, drawn the crowds and made the money for promoters, so will inevitably get the big paydays. However, it's a fooked situation when today's slobs quadruple the earnings of fighters 4x more entertaining than them.

 

You better believe it.

 

I doubt that it would be physicaly possible for most people to overrate Jeffries.

He routinely gets compared to George Chuvalo.

Underrated: Frankie Randall, Masao Ohba, Winky Wright, Riddick Bowe, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Mickey Walker, Tony Canzoneri, Jimmy Carter

Sven Ottke is a bad choice. Everybody bashes him like John Ruiz. His corrupt management and bad publicity hide his accomplishment and skills.

Under-rated: Lloyd Marshall? Certainly by boxing experts anyway, I can't believe he's not in the HOF.

I would say the Non Pareil Jack Dempsey aswell possibly.
