    If Larry was commentating every fight would turn into a giant mess.

    But it would be interesting, maybe have Leon Black on as a guest?

    Being a Brit the only time I've ever heard Steward commentating is on YouTube for Calzaghe V Kessler. He states Kessler is one of the top fighters on the planet but Calzaghe is special, so obviously he holds Calzaghe in very high regard. Unless he was bullshiting which is what some of you seem to suggest he does from time to time.

    Emanuel Steward is a BORING commentator. He has no charisma and is very dry. In addition, he doesn't have a likable personality. I was watching some other fights just on youtube and heard George Foreman. Night and day difference. Yes, he (George) would say some crazy things that sometimes didn't make sense, but the guy was entertaining. It HELPS you get through the fights, even when they are not so exciting. Also, Roy Jones was much better. In my opinion, as a commentator, you have a little enthusiasm or personality. He also doesn't allow topics or conversations to progress. Every response of his is close ended. He either already knows the outcome, the fighter is fighting the perfect fight and the fight is going just as expected. On top of that, his voice is so monotoneous.

    More and more I enjoy watching showtime boxing instead of HBO. They put on the best fights (competative), sometimes their programming is a bit amateurish, but it just seems more genuine.

    Emanuel Steward is a very good commentator. I like him. And he knows boxing and loves the sport.

    My favorite team is still Lampley, Steward and Merchant. Any chance they're getting Larry back on the team?

    Any team with Steward is a bad team. Merchant is still with HBO but i think he is being phased out. I think he's contracted to do some fights. Not sure how that works. Kind of sucks because Merchant is cool. He might not say much but the few things he does say are either funny as hell or very relevant and insightful.

    I can't help it, I like the little ****er. Well atleast 95% of the time, lately his "bash Pavlik" crusade has gotten a little old. But even then I usually just laugh at him.

    I do find him entertaining for the largest part.
