Ok boys.......the fight we've been waiting for looms nearby.
It's only a matter of hours.

Who do you have walkin away with this one?

I'm picking Pac...........in destructive fashion. Fight ends by stoppage before round 8.

My hearts with Hatton and I would like nothing more than to see Hatton pull a rabbit out of his hat and stage the ultimate upset.

I agree with you. Im a big hatton fan but logic tells me that pacquiao style destroys him and stops him on cuts or k.o.

however Im still cheering for hatton to win no matter what.

I've got Pacquiao on points, though I can see the case for a late stoppage.

I see avery competitive 3-4 rounds, with Pacs foot movement making Hatton increasingly miss and thus slow down.

Pacs punching power at this weight will be alot more than alot will expect.

But Hattons physical strength should be what makes this tough early on .

8th to 10th round stoppage Pac

I got Hatton, though I could see a pac points victory. I don't think pac will be able to stop Hatton if he does end up winning.

I'm sure a lot know that I'm a huge Pac fan and I picked Pac to defeat DLH like I always picked him for all fights and my support for Pac will remain forever even if he fights Mayweather in the future as both fighters are #1 for me today.

In this fight I'll have to switch sides for once and pick Hatton to win possibly by decision or late stoppage(TKO 9 or 10). The way I see it is this, we haven't really seen how Pac performs at the higher weights YET and in his very first fight at 140 he's fighting the best there for the past few years and also undefeated at that weight. I'll have to listen to my British friends in this one and acknowledge that at this weight Hatton is the beast I know he is. Pacquiao will be too small in there even though both looked same size and if you're smaller than Hatton then that's what his style depends on, basically overpowering his opponents, using his size with some ugly tactics here and there.

I know Cortez might have stopped Hatton from applying his tactics against Mayweather but still Hatton was able to apply some of them and succeeded at times and this was against Mayweather. Hate to imagine how a smaller Pac will deal with it, Hatton will MAKE this an inside fight and I know that Pac has issues there. If Pacquiao is able to keep Hatton at bay by nailing Hatton hard and making him feel his power then he has this one in the bag and might even KO Hatton within the first three rounds. I just believe that Hatton has the ability to take a punch and will keep charging in, I'm also hoping to see more improvements and an actual strategy rather than just one-dimensional charging in. Still that one-dimension can be too much to handle and I'm VERY sure he WILL hit Pacquiao sooner or later and as I said we still don't know how Pacquiao performs at these weights, the DLH fight he barely took a punch nor did DLH test him, he just hammered on DLH all the way and kept him confused NOT only because DLH is shot but because of the number of punches he threw, he just didn't give DLH any room to breath or even think. I still believe that Hatton will look to retaliate and put Pacquiao in a bad position due to size difference. Watch out for Hatton's power in this one, I believe his power is very underrated and will shine tonight.

Sticking with my pick, Hatton by late round TKO. I'm telling you if this does happen as I think/feel it will then I'll be sick LITERALLY for a long time as I love Pacquiao far too much to want to see this happen to him but in boxing anything can happen. I do believe in Pacquiao like all other Pacquiao fans but I have to also be reasonable in my own way I guess with predictions/thoughts and if this pick is against Pacquiao it doesn't mean I'm against him at all, just a prediction for a competitive battle.

May the best man win and best of luck to both, hope neither fighter is affected in any way after the fight. Looking forward to this mega event. Hoping the fans will give credit to BOTH the winner and loser in this one without bull**** "overrated" theories.

Hatton wins it in the late rounds..

    1) Pac by KO in 10th 70%
Hatton is gonna try some new tricks which he has learned from Mayweather Snr, possibly even try to box...he will be thoroughly outclassed in that department. He will soon go back to doing what he does best, roughhousing and have some success with it. Hatton is stronger than Pac so anytime he does get inside, he will probably get the better of Pac. At the same time though, Pac has enough fire power, enough speed, output and footwork to get himself outside and land the combinations. I think pretty much the whole fight will be like that.

A lot of people will laugh at me for comparing this fight to the Diaz fight but I pictured that fight to go pretty much exactly the way it did. The only difference between this fight and that fight is that unlike Diaz, Hatton will actually get inside, land and hurt Pacquiao...he wont be on the inside all night though and everytime he is on the outside, Pac's combinations will cut him up. Speaking of cuts, as they are the same height, both come forwards and has cut before, 80% chance of a headbutt and cut in this fight.

Ricky will be outclassed for most of the fight, stunned a few times as he gets caught coming in and Pac will try finish him but Ricky will clinch for dear life. By the 6th round after taking so many punches, he will loose a bit of steam and wont work as hard trying to go in, will try again to box from the outside only to get beat up. He wil be completely gassed out by the 9th and running out of options will simply try to run over Pac, he gets KO'd in the 10th.

That's my prediction in another thread...watch for the fight to go exactly as that :)
