Wasn't there talk of him getting this upcoming Pac fight instead of marquez for a while? It's terrible for the sport that Mayweather and Pac are passing ruined fighters like this between them, because they are "names" instead of fighting people with a bit of fight left in them.

None of what I'm saying is taking anything away from what Trout has done last night. I don't even know why people had Cotto winning in the first place, to be honest. But even I can recognize that Cotto didn't look good, period.

nobody said he was shot. damaged yes. but can anyone deny how good cotto looked in the ring against margo 2 then peaking against money? that was a damn healthy, focused, not drained, and rejuvenated cotto. prolly the best combination of experience, mental and physical state.

Why wouldnt he look faster vs Mayorga and Foreman? Those guys are garbage compared to Trout. Fact is the same Cotto who fought last night was the same vs Floyd, same vs Margarito. The difference was Austin Trout. Period end of story.
