Lol then quit wasting ur time talking about 'female tendencies.' You obviously ran out of dumb **** to say. Enough with the female talk. Your mama lied to you about who ur real daddy was. Ur real daddy probably robbed and left her blind for a days worth of crack

His own weight? What weight? The one that he lost just recently that some would claim he's too small for it? :yep

Cotto is better suited for the weight than Floyd is in any case

Maybe Trout just made him look terrible tonight
Can't you at least give Trout his full credit if you give credit for the May-Cotto fight?

No argument, but in any case I'm not in a Floyd hate.
I'm talking about Cotto, which is which now? Too small is for 154? or natural as the other one claimed?

You're implying Cotto just beat himself last night.
So you're implying the Cotto in the Mayweather fight's gonna beat Trout then?

    I'm not implying ****.

Why's everyone trying to be a ****ing detective on this site? Would Cotto being at optimum performance overcome the length and outside fighting capabilities that Austin was giving him? No. Would it have overcame the stupid decision to try and wrestle with the much larger man on the inside? No.

He would have however, imo, done better at covering the distance in the middle of the ring, when Austin would miss several punches in a row and at least made it competitive in those moments. Not just stay on the end of Trouts jab all night, hoping to counter.

Ok, fair enough. That was a nice effort of your analysis.

I was also hoping for Cotto to win this fight but I really had the feeling he was gonna lose this one (actually I predicted a late rd TKO or a close decision hometown loss as posted in the other thread). Trout's reach is too long for Cotto to use one of his very good assets, 'the jab'. It negates almost everything he could/would do to Austin. Austin is no Margo, he knows how use distance in the ring(something Foremen would have had too if it wasn't for the injury). This one alone just made me think Cotto's gonna be f*cked-up in this fight. Then it happens

Anyways, my case is if you put credit for Floyd's win over Cotto, you should also give Trout his decent credit too. Any other excuses used for the fight that happened last night is bullsh*t for me.
