    Bob Whittaker offered the Venetian Gondalier a "bout of love". I suspect it was more intended to call his opponent homosexual than himself.

    The “unwritten” rule to me was always “Go out on your shield. Never quit.” I hope it’s fallen off to the wayside as fighters have gotten smarter but it’s still there a lot of times and unspoken.

    I understand the part about your dead body being carried home on your shield but you forgot the part about: "with my sword on my chest." But,.. it's all Greek to me!!!

    Up and coming fighter shoudl be given the benefit of the doubt over the old vet.

    Rise at 8 if you've been knocked down.

    A round with a knockdown is always scored 10-8 even if the rules do not say that.
