And not just boxing! Remember HBO's nice summary of this year's sport upsets?

    But boxing produces the most:

    Mora upsets Forrest
    Quintana upsets Williams
    Bradley upsets Witter
    Campbell upsets Diaz
    Casamayor's comeback vs. Katsidis

1 rounds jobs: Lopez over PDL, Williams over Quintana, Holt over Torres, Barrett over Fields

And now you can add Margarito's upset win over Cotto in a stunning way... and we've still got half a year!

    Other possible upsets:
    Hopkins over Pavlik
    Jones over Calzaghe
Pacquiao over De La Hoya (because of the weight)
Campbell over Guzman (according to the betting odds, Guzman is a VERY heavy favourite)
    Povetkin over Klitschko
    Tarver over Dawson
    Andrade over Bute
    Malignaggi over Hatton
    Mayorga over Mosley
Soto over Pacquiao (another brave and relentless Mexican)

Of course most upsets won't happen because the favourites are too good. But 2 or 3 more upsets and this year will be known for it's stunning comebacks.

Well yes, it's not the same as Campbell over Diaz but still... Cotto, the heavy favourite at the odds, the champ, the undefeated one, the P4P-er, the skillful genious getting stopped brutally by a superb Margarito... big big win for the underdog, an upset in my book...

This was what I had for the fights mentioned. My Picks are in Brackets.

Mora upsets Forrest (I did not see this as a big upset I thought Mora had a 40% chance to win but I went for Forrest on close pts decision)

Quintana upsets Williams (I only gave Quintana a 15% chance, I thought Williams by late stoppage)
Bradley upsets Witter (I actually had this 50-50 I backed Bradley on pts)
Campbell upsets Diaz (I gave Campbell a 30% chance to win, I though Diaz would win on pts)
Casamayor's comeback vs. Katsidis (I only gave Casa a 20% chance, I backed Katsidis by TKO I thought 10th RD)

1 rounds jobs: Lopez over PDL (I thought Lopez on pts), Williams over Quintana (I was unsure here I had it 50-50), Holt over Torres (I thought Torres by late KO), Barrett over Fields (I actually picked Barrett by early KO)

And now you can add Margarito's upset win over Cotto in a stunning way... and we've still got half a year! (I picked Cotto on pts)

Now this August starts strong with unexpected losses! Or you can call it the upset Friday:

-SMW prospect Sebastien Demers loses to late sub Dionisio Miranda
-Cuban Olympic Gold Medallist Yan Barthelemy loses to 6-4 Earnie Marquez
-LMW Polish prospect Pawel Wolak loses to former The Contender fighter Ishe Smith...
