    Coming from the USA I cannot deny that there are lot of glass-jawed fighters, both historically and currently, who have hailed from these shores. However, it seems to me that both of the countries from which my ancestry is drawn, England and Poland, also have their share of fragile mandibles.

    Well at least we have had more champions. For example,how many all time great heavyweights are American? Oh yeah, 97% of them. We still had some of the best chins too,Jake Lamotta,Holyfield etc.
