I doubt that Mirkoff. Rigo is moving up in weight and is about 52 years old actually.

I can see a robbery for Rigo every opponent Loma faced fought in a straight line. Different game plan tonight that wont work against Rigo.

Rigo's amateur pedigree amounts to a glorified 1-2 fighter who can't fight the tiniest lick inside; granted, he's shown nuance enough within his dimension that average, unspecialized world contenders of this era will struggle to avoid being shut out by him, but he's rather one-dimensional. Loma's pedigree adds up to a guy who can't fight inside and is significantly less effective if you can push him onto the back foot; granted, he's shown nuance enough within his dimension that average, unspecialized world contenders of this era (and painfully inactive, undersized old men) will struggle to avoid being shut out by him, but he's rather one-dimensional.

Citing a record of 62,567 amateur fights whenever it's suggested that one of your aggrandized favorites might not be a complete fighter has become a played out fanboy cliché. It's really not a valid argument. You have to offer some substantial explanation as to why and how a person is wrong, preferably accompanied by footage or references to footage of your guy demonstrating the qualities he's accused of lacking.

We've already seen Loma experience issues with a faded version of a technically adept pressure fighter/infighter. Wait until Loma fights a prime pure boxer or a rangy boxer puncher with sharp timing and a highly educated weapon of a jab, before anointing him (then again, Nicholas Walters probably meets your standards for that). As for your premature ejaculations over the angles he creates with his feet, some of us here aren't neophytes - I guess you never saw Orlando Canizales before?

Loma and Rigo won't be the first to come and go having been exposed as much less than they were touted to be. It was Rigo's time tonight. And, frankly, he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same book as true elites after that miserable quit and abject failure to even attempt something different when his Plan A wasn't working.

Tonight's action wholly vindicated my relative lack of enthusiasm for the event, moreso than I could've expected. Two show ponies, one undersized, inactive and demonstrating all the competitive drive of a goldfish, fought for six rounds and produced no meaningful exchanges. And, of course, you're going to tout it as evidence of Lomachenko's alleged peerlessness.

I expected Loma to have too much hustle for the little old man who'd fought only three rounds in two years, and that's what we saw. Even within his stylistic confines, Rigo wasn't sharp by his standards. His timing was dulled by age and inactivity, his legs are a shade less sprightly. And he was utterly dispassionate in there, happy to get paid and go home. Loma outworked an uninspired, dull fighter until he said "no mas". It's the bare minumum that could have been expected of him.

As for the rest of your profane and pointless post - you could've posted something thoughtful, but all you did is tell me that you're a petulant type of character who gets upset when people don't worship his favoritest fighter. I was actually complimentary of Loma in some respects, and you still lost control of your mental faculties and resorted to ad hominem nonsense and astigmatic, sweeping statements of a stock variety instead of formulating an actual argument. You reacted as if I'd said he was of no use at all, and that's the kind of irrational love that women have for men. It's a bit too fiery and passionate to pass as strictly platonic.

No offence intended, but your posts are suggestive of someone who enjoys comic books and superhero movies much more than you enjoy the actual sport of boxing.

Please just shut up. If you can't see Lomachenko's immense talent then it's really not worth my time because you don't understand boxing.
What is your purpose of critizing Loma and rigo?
A great fight was taking place and you come on here to take a huge dump on the abilities of these men. Your only motive was to posture and pose how great your knowledge of boxing is by arrogantly declaring how Loma and Rigo don't compare to fighters of the past.
nearly every fighter Loma has faced is a pressure fighter! The only trouble he's had was against a weight cheat in salido in his first ever 12 round fight...his 2nd pro fight!...for a world title! Is that the best you can do? Honestly? How many times did salido connect with lomas head? Go back and count. Loma had salido hurt in the last round and would most likely have ko'd him if there was another round so it's safe to say he figured him out.
Now he's just taken apart a slick defensive fighter in rigo whom I agree is a bit of a one trick pony (not fully rounded) but is gifted at doing what he does an a great deal more effective than the 'superior' fighters you mentioned.

Roberto Duran had trouble with slick defensive fighters...is he not a fully rounded fighter?

Wow you compare loma to one of my favourite fighters of all time Orlando canizales. A huge compliment to Loma. And yes I see the similarities of footwork and both have had great success with it would you agree? Canizales was a little one paced and didn't shift stances like lomachenko did so he wasn't as fluid or as evasive as Loma and couldn't open up as many angles.

Anyway I don't know why I'm still writing because you are too arrogant to acknowledge a great fighter after a great win.

Enjoy watching re runs of Donald curry, James Toney and Micheal nunn. I will enjoy watching the current p4p#1 make history.

Well done with the betting scam mirko.
When you did that fake post previously, ESB nearly crashed with useless posters flooding in to bet their Vcash not realising that you were drawing them in and changing the odds to suit yourself and other great posters:cheer::roto2lol:
