probably the toughest fight at super feather or below that Loma could take. So he should get the credit he deserves after he wins but he probably won't. People are talking about the move up in weight too much, it's nothing! It's a few lbs. it's just the equivalent of one weight class in most divisional differences. I'm expecting it be a tough fight unless Rigos suspect chin folds. Rigo will make it boring like he always does. but Loma is a true winner, he'll get the job done.

I think that too many circumstantial factors lie in Lomachenko's favor. if he doesn't overwhelm Rigondeaux and stop him, I expect he'll do enough to edge a distance fight in his favor, especially with the political might of Top Rank behind him. Anything less than TKO'ing Loma or making an unmistakable fool of him might not be enough for Rigo.

However, I'll be pleased if proven wrong. While endowed with tremendous athletic talent, both fighters have tended to leave me cold (you'd be correct in assuming that I don't believe either man to be as good as their respective groups of disciples believe them to be) and I generally have little investment in the outcomes of their bouts. On this occasion, though, I have to root for Rigondeaux by virtue of the task he's taking on. And my estimation of his craft will have to face some revision if he prevails.

While a clean and clear Loma win would be hyped to death by the network and elements of the boxing media, he doesn't have too much authentic kudos to gain here. The deck is stacked in his favor and anything less than an emphatic win is something of a moral defeat, by my lights.

One pound means more the smaller the men are. That same pound means less the bigger they are. It's proportionate. And bear in mind that Rigo isn't exactly a big 122. Loma will end up at lightweight before too long.

The size factor simply cannot be ignored or dismissed, especially given that both of these fighters are widely considered to be P4P operators with comparable levels of talent to draw on. To ignore or dismiss that factor is also to underplay the value of Rigo's feat, should he win.

Loma in a close fight, his activity will win more rounds even if he's not landing much.
    Rooting for Rigo tho

Lomachenko is too good, too young and too big to be beat by the aging Rigoneaux. Loma by late stoppage.

Rigo is afraid of Loma. He was afraid of him at 126 and will be more afraid at 130. This is nothing more than a late career pension fund fight for Rigo and he has no chance of beating Loma. Loma has superior skills and beats him at any weight at any stage of their careers. Some guys are saying that Loma gets no accolades for beating Rigo but still pick Rigo to win. There is no logic to that train of thought. Loma by ko.
