I think the version non-weight drained De La Hoya who fought Mayweather @ 154 and came into the ring at 166, beats the version of Pacquiao that he fought @ 147, do you agree?

De La Hoya had fast hands, he's taller, a granite chin and is a technically better boxer then Pacquiao.

  2. Pacquiao is a stylistic nightmare for De La Hoya.

Disagree.....maybe the DLH back who fought Shane in 2000....That DLH would beat Floyd too.

i dont think the 154 version was that good either. He was out of the ring for a year and looked really rusty.

Im not sure which version beats Manny , maybe the 140 fighter who beat the great JCC.

This Pac? Yes, definitely. Pac at his finest? Nah, not for me.

Peak for peak? ODLH every time though.

You forgot to specify which fighter gets Freddie Roach. Oscar had Freddie Roach in his corner for the Floyd fight, which is why he was so competitive.

Without Roach, Oscar gets knocked out by Pacman. If Oscar has Roach, then he goes the distance but loses on points.

You people act as if Roach is a fking savior or something. He's just a cornermen.

The Oscar that fought Floyd would have lost as well. Pac-man at that time was super fast, still strong and bounced in and out like a rabbit. Oscar was well passed his best when he fought Floyd.

Now if you go back farther and pull out the Oscar that fought Quartey or thereabouts, then we have a good fight.

DLH couldn't beat Shane in 2000 so how the hell he going to beat Floyd? Last I checked Floyd beat both Shane and DLH

Prime De La Hoya would have gone the distance against Pac, and perhaps would have won a round or 2 along the way.

Right......Beat DLH and Shane who were past their primes. PAC beat DLH too....Past his prime. DLH in 2000 and Shane in 2000 were monsters.

probably not...would have been more competitive considering he got his ass beat against Pac, but judging by that performance from Pac, I think Pac beats him comfortably.
