That: 1) Khan is a really good fighter? 2) Roach is an amazing coach? 3) Salita is nothing but a bum 4) Nothing
I can't stand Amir Khan, but regardless of the level of his opposition or how skilled Salita may or may not be, he disposed of him in brutal fashion. I give him credit for that much. We knew already that he had a great offense, quick hands and good power, that's never been in question. It certainly doesn't do anything for Salita's stock, however.
Agreed although no one can surely call Khan a 'great fighter' just yet. Although Roach is definately an amazing coach, there's no question about that.
1) Khan is a very promising fighter 2) Roach knows how to get the best attributes out of promising fighters 3) Salita is/was hype train
Khan is definitly a good fighters with world class tools but the result of this fight had more to do with Salita being a complete joke then Khan being good. Any top fighter would kill Salita. Salita has never even been in there with a gate keeper let alone a contender or top 10 title holders. And I've seen Salita fight more then probably anyone on this board being from NYC. Khan's only problems seems to be his chin and that could pose a big problem for him if he fights faster skilled fighters like Alexander, Bradley, Hatton ect
I want Khan to step up and fights an elite opponent. Right now IMO he's just an alright fighter. If he fights Bradley and beat him I would say he is a good fighter, but that remains to be seen if his chin holds up.
