.......now that October draws near, and the dominant heavyweight gears up for a long awaited and eagerly anticipated return to the ring.............. to reclaim his title and reestablish just how devastating he was, and will be, again.........

RETURN OF THE KING! This 6 foot 8 inch, 250 pound fighting machine is self assured enough to take on what is considered to be one of the top three or four heavyweights, cold, without a tuneup, after four years of being out of the ring. Talk about being confident!

We are still 2 months away from the fight. Relax. Let's see if he gets a victory first of Mr. Training Camp... the opponent that has knocked him out a couple of times already.

I still say it's 50/50 at best that he makes it into the ring against Peter. And even if he does, he has some serious strikes against him...

    1. Age
    2. Health
    3. Hasn't fought in 3 years
    4. Fighting a good HW right out of the gate.

    Time will tell...

Peter is going to give Quitali and makeover Lennox Lewis style.

No need for any other VK haters, I'm gonna give Quitali a whole life times worth of hating.

I don't understand the Vitali hate. All of his fights were entertaining.

Hopefully his body will hold up.

Trust that if Vitali is 75% of what he was he will beat Sam Peter.

I thought Vitali was very exciting and dominant in the ring. Outside the ring he ****ed over fans and his oppenents alike, backing out of fight after fight, he did so against Rahman 4 or 5 times, Mccline, and couldnt come up with agreement for a fight with Maskaev, which ****ed over Peter's chance of fighting Maskaev sooner. He has held up process since December of 04, and he continues to plague the WBC by coming out of the woodwork every year it seems, and in the end not fighting.

I think Siphon, or someone else, posted that they had recently read where Vitali was planning on only the Peter fight, then retiring for good.

But according to this new article from the mainpage of ESB, it sounds as if the plan is to continue on until he and Wladimir have ALL the titles between them- their well known and long standing goal. And it sounds as if that is still what they intend to do:

If Klitschko makes it out of training camp it'll be a stoppage win for him over Peter. Since Valuev has the WBA title, that may be something his promotor does to keep the K brothers from having all the titles, Sauerland keeping Valuev in Germany fighting against mandatories and such. But Sauerland should make the fight happen if Vitali wins, a unification against Wladimir or Vitali.

Yes I did post his interview in which he stated that he was coming for only this fight. Well, if Vlad fights and beats Valuev and Vitaly beats Sam, they will hold all 4 titles, thus, Vitaly doesn't have to fight anymore.
