The Vitali I saw last night would of definetely lost to a prime Joe Frazier

Frazier would KO Vitali. Klitschko was ****ing all awkward and stumbling over his feet when Arreola pretty much ran to him. Frazier could cut off the ring and he could move his head for 15 rounds, unlike Arreola who moved his head for like a minute in the first round. It would be interesting, but pretty much any great fight of any era beats the **** out of Vitali.

Like I said I'm a Joe fan...and Joe vs Mathis was a great fight.
Back when Joe had two eyes.
Joe loses...because some where between Mathis and Ali, he lost sight in his right eye.

    mathis would slap Chris silly.
But then 235 was huge way back in the when.....even if fat. A Mathis at 210 would have beaten Joe more than likely....

Vittili is too tall, too heavy, and got too much reach with good power.

Obviously not a very good Joe fan. He fought half-blind for all his professional career. He had an accident that happened in sparring around 1964.

A 210 pound Mathis would beat him? What the **** is wrong with you...

Joe beats the **** out of the 38 year old arm-punching awkward Vitali I just saw. Just because Arreola makes him look fast doesn't mean he is. Arreola got to him at some points and Frazier would definitely be busting him up. No question.

    Hmmmm......

In the second half of that fight it looked to me like the older Klit was open for straight right hands....

    I'm sorry but no.

It's clear that Klitschko was VERY uncomfortable with Arreola pressure @ certian points in the fight.

Yes, there were moments when he was running away from Arreola...

At Ali's best, a clumsy, slow, 1-2 punching plodder like Klitschko wouldn't have been able to lay a glove on him.

    Ali KO 5

You mean like Lewis was running away from Tua for 12 rounds IN A MASTERPIECE OF A PERFORMANCE???? Lewis never traded toe-to-toe with Tua. Why not?

Jesus dude when will you lay off that crackpipe. No matter what Vitali does, you will criticize him.

Watching Vitali's activty, movement, intelligence and varied attack last night, i am convinced he would lay an epic beatdown on both Frazier and Foreman in the 70s. Vitali is a nightmare for any come forward fighter because he can counter from some many angles...and he does it fast and moves. Vitali is too rangey and fights too tall for Foreman to have a lot of success against. Foreman's uppercuts are completely negated here.

    Vitali-Tyson would have been epic.

Lewis is the only fighter I would clearly favor over Vitali though it would be competitive. Slick, ultra skilled boxers can give him some troubles. Holmes, Ali (60s) would have been great too...

Lewis sort of did a turn his back and run move from Briggs but he was off-balance from the shots on the back of the head. Either way, Vitali definitely hates pressure and ran away for a bit there... it looked funny. And now, I don't think Lewis turned his back or literally ran away from Tua. He used movement and was keeping his distance while facing him.

Just to reiterage, I thought Lewis put on a masterful performance against Tua. One of his best fights ever. Lewis was holding much more against Tua (and even more so against Tyson) than Vitali did against Arreola or any other fighter. Vitali simple side-steps. Obviously, if a 6"7 man is stepping around and a 250 slob of fat runs into him Vitali will not always possess the balance of a Russian ballerina. I find it funny that some on the forum (not you I think though) argue that Vitali's footwork was weak because he was off-balance. It was simply a product of Arreola storming into him with the mass of his body, not the product of punches landing.

But I ask you, what's more pleasing? Holding and leaning on your opponent (Lewis vs. Tua and Tyson) or stepping backwards and sideways, connecting left hooks and right crosses while back-pedalling (Vitali).

Nobody came close to KOing Tyson when he was @ his best.

In his Prime, Tyson had the hand speed of a welterweight and it was near impossible to land cleanly on him.

Add to that, Tyson's chin was durable.

Tyson KOs both Klitschkos on the same night....
