Neither brother does well against guys coming in close the way Frazier did, to be honest though ( and Joe is probably my all time no1 fave ! ) he would stand a good chance against Wlad , but Vitali is big and very tough. I can see Wlad pulling straight back once too often and getting caught but even if Vitali did that Joe didnt have enough one shot power to take him out.

Plus Vitali throws a pretty good uppercut and we saw what a tall guy with a good uppercut did to frazier before !

Joe was a beast and he would find a way to Vitali's jaw. Vitalis slow ass punches would be easily deflected by Joe and Joe's stamnia would have him stronger in a long Match. Either way Joe's wins.

Vitali would murder Frazier. Frazier wouldn't land a single punch. Heck Frazier didn't land a single punch against a Foreman that stood in front of him as stiff as a statue and then Frazier took a dive like a little *****.

Bull. Vitali teased Arreola, used his height/leaning back defense perfectly to frustrate Arreola because he knew he could. Vitali is one of the most intelligent boxers ever, he would have studied Frazier carefully and develop a strategy to use his height against Frazier.

Frazier doesn't have the power to take out Vitali with one shot. Nodody, not even Lennox, ever outlanded Vitali in a fight. For all his bob and weave stuff, I just don't see Frazier land good punches on a 6'8 fighter with very good reflexes. He couldn't push Vitali around the ring either. Different era, different prototypes of fighters. Frazier would not be great since the Bowe/Lewis/Klitschko prototypes came along.

I think that Frazier is an easier style matchup for Vitali than Ali.

I think Vitali has trouble with boxers who are faster than him and make him reach forward.

I'd say that Vitali loses to Ali, but beats Frazier in a close war.

I didn't think Vitali looked that bad today. But then again I was watching through skype. I thought he had some good fluidity and speed for a man his age. But people are saying the opposite so it must've been the bad quality. I know Briggs is a punching bag, but I thought Vitali had looked good for his age.
