If that was the only reason you wouldnt have the majority of ESB voting to put him in the top20 p4p. :nono

Never cared much for P4P as they always favor smaller fighters who all inevitably move around in weight.

It's only a matter of time before the Mighty Adamek cracks the top 10. (As I would argue he is top 15 at the moment).

Not a fan, he takes too many shots for my liking.

But top 20 for a two weight champ is reasonable.

He lost bigtime to Chad Dawson, it wasn't close at all.

Kudos to his run @ CW though, it's been good.
    He's top 18-20 for me.:good

As far as top10 p4p goes, he's gonna have to start working on his defense to withstand some of the fine young cruiserweights coming up like Alexeev.

You can't afford to take the shots Adamek eats to be a long reigning champion.

P4P should include fighters who are proved to being successful in a
multidivision or fighting other fighters who move between divisions. Adamek
being two division champion with pretty good record and good resume should
be classified in a close to #10 P4P ... however I doubt he should be there already.

If he unify some belts at CW or beat Dawson or other current or former P4P
fighter (e.g. Hopkins, Calzaghe, even Jones) ... or move to HW and beat
legitimate #10 contender over there he will be in my #10 list.

I hate it when Calzaghe fans slag Dawson off by saying he beat a weight drained Adamek in his biggest win. Adamek may have had trouble making weight, but if Chad moves up and takes Adamek's belt, what will they say then?

Thats exactly why I want to see a rematch.

The whole weight drained thing is bull****, you know when its a real factor in a fight its being talked about before the fight even happens, in this case its months after that people started that crap...Adamek wasnt weight drained he got his ass whipped, he lost 11 or 12 rounds and wasnt really able to compete with Dawson so he moved up in weight, now that he beat a hype job....An American fighter that gets more credit from Europeans then from Americans, he was weight drained in his fight with Dawson...Bull****, and I somehow wish that he and Dawson would fight again at cruiser, easy fight for Dawson, pick up another belt and a nice payday.

If you honestly don't think Adamek had problems prior to his fight with Dawson, and that he fought his normal fight then you have not watched many Adamek fights, and apparently don't know the type of fighter he is.

Adamek fought at LHW previously, and each time, with each passing fight, had bigger and bigger issues making weight. The Dawson fight is what broke the camels back and he finally moved up. Adamek wasnt even applying much pressure in the Dawson fight for christ sake, that is not his style AT ALL. If you think weight and health issues had nothing to do with his crappy display that night then you are somewhat out there..

I hate making it seem that I am looking for excuses for Adameks crap performance that night. He lost fair and square, but to say that his weight/health (he got sick before the fight, aside from weight issues) before the fight had nothing to do with his weak performance is stretching it.

Stop trying to make Cunningham seem like a hype job when he is a talented fighter at CW. The majority of ESB was picking him to win, and he has more fans in Europe then in the U.S because that is where most of his fights took place, pretty simple concept. Cunningham was the #1 ranked champion at CW prior to this fight, so that alone does not make him a hype job. Even if he gets beaten in his upcomming fights, he is still a top CW contender.

I also would like to see Adamek-Dawson at CW. The Dawson camp in the past had even said that Dawson eventually wanted to move to HW.

I would love to see a Dawson/Adamek fight at CW. That would be a sick fight! Adamek is in the driver seat now. He could make a play with that fight, rematch Cunningham or go after Jones and try to unify.
