A ton of old timers were dirty mother****ers. For example there's a story about someone (maybe Max Baer) going to Jack Dempsey for advice on a fight. Dempsey promptly demonstrated how to break an opponent's arm in a clinch... on Baer.

Particularly notable old timers include Dempsey himself, Zivic, Greb and Sandy Saddler, among others.

Some other notables include Wilfredo Gomez, Eusebio Pedroza, Tony Galento, Tyson, Golota, Hopkins, etc.

 

Gotta shout out to Sandy Saddler. Judo throws in a boxing match lol. Love it. Dempsey as well. Punching a guy in the balls then knocking him out.
