Canelo didn't refuse to fight him. He was ready to fight him right after he knocked Khan the hell out. They fought a year later. Giving somebody a boxing lesson is what Canelo did to GGG in the first fight. What GGG did in the 2nd fight was survive the onslaught. You call backing away and pumping an ineffective jab giving someone a boxing lesson you got a lot to learn about the sport.
Charlo Derevyanchenko Brant Andrade Jacobs If it ain't one of those 5 next, he should really be ridiculed on this site.
Canelo has fought the consensus #1 P4P fighter in the world 3 times. He fought the two best JMDLWTS in the world (Lara and Trout, Lara whom GGG didn't want) when he was 154 and has been in with up to 4 hall-of-famers, now he is taking on a 6'1 light heavyweight at 5'8.
1. How did GGG not want to fight Lara or Trout? Did either fighters management approach K2/GGG? Did either fighter move up to 160 at any point? 2. Canelo should be 0-3 against both Floyd and GGG. 3. Now he's fighting a poor SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT champion. I have no problem with the fight as he's coming off 2 tough fights. Now why does Canelo get the gimme but GGG does not?
G takes his time to pick an opponent so what. It might be Charlo to heat up Texas market or Andrade to get that belt. You can't just assume he's hesitant because he's on vacation enjoying his time with family and friends, can you? He's got his promotions and Tom is picking a network for G to fight on with G fighters in as a deal package. This is just a priority for him now is to assess options and find a new "home"
He had his gimmie between Canelo fights. Hey, he's the greatest middleweight ever (!) it's time to prove it.
And why was that? Because Canelo failed two tests, Canelo has had his fair share of gimme fights too.
Tell me something IsaL ?....... Do you 5 Clenelites all meet up at midnite to all chant MOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! in honor of your hero Moonelo" Does he answer with BE BOLDA !!! as he eats another tainted steak ??
