The way Provo hurts people reminds me of Foreman

I disagree, you watch the Alvarado fight and the difference in boxing ability was ridiculous. Alvarado rarely landed a clean shot because Ruslan was rolling and slipping everything, and his punches were much shorter and more direct than Alvarado's who had to wind up and throw one shot at a time to keep his balance. Ruslan kept perfect balance with his combinations and mixed body and head beautifully he's a highly underrated boxer like Rocky Marciano was.

 

It really stood out in the Bradley fight. There was more than one occasion where Provodnikov landed a punch and Bradley staggered back across the ring, his legs suddenly weak. It looked like he was getting clubbed around the ring.

 

I think it's a different kinda power, more like heavy handedness. Provo might not have so much of the one punch KO power, but seems to hurt people with a lotta the shots he lands.

Similar kinda thing with Stevenson and Kovalev, I'd say Stevenson has the better one punch KO, but Kovalev has the kinda clubbing weight to all his power shots which breaks people down over several rounds.

Hopefully we get to see which is the most effective sometime next year.:bbb

 

I'm not going to overrate the guy. His defense has serious limitations. But Bradley is slick and can bang and went life and death with him. So he's a little more special than you are making him out to be.

 

In hindsight, it's amazing how Tim wasn't KOed. I mean Ruslan landed several FLUSH shots that landed right on the button and Tim was still standing.

People say Tim has a weak chin but I think this fight showed that Tim's chin is fine.

 

What I like about Prov is that he not only hits hard, his hands are faster than he's given credit for. What I don't about Prov is that he's easy to hit.
