The WBA have ordered Andre Ward and Carl Froch to fight in no less than 120 days per press release.

Press release says purse bid will be called if deal is not reached in 30 days.

Froch being pushed into a corner, I doubt he will fight Ward again, unless it's in England, and I doubt Ward will fight anywhere further than a 3 hour drive from Oakland

They nearly robbed Ward the last time in New Jersey
    115-113 :-(
Most rational posters on this site gave Froch 2 round at most.

No way it happens, neither man has the ***** for it.

I don't think Froch cares about what organisational belts say anymore.

He dropped the IBF belt and he'll drop the WBA one too.

He wants one last big pay-day and I don't think Ward brings that, unless Roc-Nation stump up big time

Ward fought a relatively clean fight first time out.

Only a handful of early fouls that a UK ref could have deducted points for hand he been actively and properly warned.

After about the 6th or 7th, Ward was in full cruise control winning most every rd fairly cleanly.

Given Wards inactivity, Froch's activity, combined with time off to get healthy, and being the bigger draw, I would give him a 70% chance of bringing this fight to the UK,

WITH WARD HAVING A 30% CHANCE due to JayZ thinking to protect his biggest name.

If Froch mgmt can win the purse bid, get the fight in Nottingham, similar to the Bute fight, Froch could steal early rds with activity and look to get Ward into a wrestling match later in the fight in which case he might get the referee to show partisanship, and warn/deduct from Ward giving Carl a hometown decision.

I don't think Froch can outbox even a rusty Ward. Not without some fair or hometown refereeing.

I think Hearn is gonna have to dig deep to bring this fight to the UK. I think either Wembley Stadium $$$$$$, or the Capital FM Arena would be the best place to hold the event, both of which give Froch a huge advantage considering the raucous crowds both with bring.

Obviously the smaller stage, Capital FM would mean lower attendance, but this could potentially be a PPV fight in the states, and while Ward himself is NOT a PPV attraction, American fight fans know him well, and the showcase fight that Froch put on in front of an HBO audience against Groves2 would be enough for the HBO execs to pick it up and make it a megafight.

Props to the WBA for enforcing this fight.

We'll see soon enough if Ward is a man of his word in both wanting the fight, and wanting to fight the best.

If Froch drops his title, for whichever reason, ie losing purse bid, looking for a different fight, whichever, it will go down as a HUGE duck, one in which I can't see Froch doing.:-(
