WBA csn't confirm anything. It is a body that can only give its own perspective and that is motivated by the dollar.

 

The thing about taking a knee is: subjectivity doesn’t come into it. It’s a knockdown. You have willingly submitted to a knockdown by taking a knee - it doesn’t matter what reason, you have accepted a KD.

this isn’t a scenario where the ref has to make a decision whether it was a trip, or a foul shot that caused a KD (ie, something subjective) - it’s an objective fact.

And that’s before you take into account turning your back, plus having your cornermen on the apron. The knockdown is irrefutable - but the other elements could’ve led to a DQ. Tank would’ve been lucky to only get a 10-8 round in any fair read of the situation.

people defending this either don’t understand boxing rules, or just enjoy gloating on the internet.

 

The punch clearly landed, it was a knockdown. And more importantly, Roach landed a clean right hand right before that patty jab, which clearly effected Tank´s eye. You can see it in his face. Then Roach landed that little jab and Tank took a knee.

I think it is bull**** what they did to Roach but what does Floyd have to do with it why even bring his name up?

 

Did you just start watching this sport last week?.... Why even bring up Floyd's name?......WTF are you talking about?....... Floyd Mayweather is THE REASON WHY Tank Davis is who he is. Floyd is the one who promoted, pushed, hyped, vouched for, and mentored Tank making him an extension of Floyd's fame as he walked away from competing.

My comment above talks about Tank not doing anything in his career to solidify him as the "Face of Boxing" as he's often referred to as. Floyd's name is brought up in the conversation because he is a huge reason why that is.....

I'm going to need you to do some research and know more about boxing than just what has happened in the sport over the last 4 years.

 

Roach should take a knee in the exact same way in the rematch and prove the hypocrisy.
