He will knock Wilder out, it's the Eastern European fighters coming up that he has to be concerned with.............

Yeah, these rankings are very hit or miss. Good names like Povetkin, Miller & Whyte. But Flores, Oquendo and Bryan...

Short list of all the names in alphabet top10 rakings that didn't make any other top15 even. Seems like the WBA is the worst of the bunch, like always.
The one big name popping up is Ortiz of course (WBC #3) but that's probably because of his medication history.
    Fres Oquendo (WBA2)
    Trevor Bryan (WBA5)
    Alexander Ustinov (WBA8)
    BJ Flores (WBA9)
    Guillermo Jones (WBA10)
    Luis Ortiz (WBC3)
    Tony Bellew (WBC5)
    Oscar Rivas (WBC9)
    Alexander Dimitrenko (IBF8)
    Zhilei Zhang (WBO8)

Even taking the Fres court order into perspective, the WBA looks kinda crab, with 4 other boxers in their top10 that stick out like a sore thumb.

Seems like someone just picked a bunch of names out of a hat, asked someone to rank them for him, them jumbled them all up again.

Looks like a list compiled based on a pay per play kind of deal.

Those who have the wealthiest promoters or who can blackmail the WBA are ranked highly, which is not at all indicative of their actual boxing ability in the past 6-12 months.

BJ Flores will be nice title defence, even better than the winner of Charr-Oquendo. The guy couldn't last 3 vs Tony Bellew at 200 lbs.

Same question here, i might be wrong but isn't/wasn't he the cruiser that Bellew fought just before Haye? if so, what the actual hell :D

Edit. It is him, damn :D Looks like getting KO'd and then fighting guy's with 26-18-1 and 13-6-2 records get's you the 9th possition.

Help me out bud because I'm too stupid to understand what it is you're getting at. Those letter belts are how these guys get ranked. Why would you expect all bodies to respect alphabet titles?

What I mean is BJ is ranked in the WBA top fifteen because he won the NABA title. It earns him an automatic ranking in their top fifteen regardless of if the WBA thinks BJ is great or ****.

That said, why would you expect to see him on the WBC? The WBC does not honor the NABA, they have **** like the EBU instead.

I'm not asking to be a dick, I'm being honest here, I don't understand your point.

Povetkin and Miller are the toughest names in that list. Anybody who thinks Whyte is worthy of a rematch is laughing. Since his moderate left hook success in their first fight with AJ, Whyte has been nothing short of bang average. 2018 AJ blows him away inside 3 or 4 in a total one sided rematch.

Pov is mandatory and Hearn is positioning Miller to be his IBF mandatory, you can forget about the rest.
