Ha! Boxing is a joke, how can it be anything other than a life ban? the guy knew what he was doing and tried to cheat in order to hurt someone else, in a sport where people do actually die or get permanently injured, this is unacceptable.

6 months is a joke and not enough of a deterrent to potential cheaters, they would fancy the risk of multiple millions and future bigger fights by cheating vs an itsy bitsy sit-on-the-naughty-step ban.

This is ridiculous, but what I expected from boxing. First a technicality and then when the responsibility falls on the alphabets we get another half assed ban that hardly is one.
The guy is as blatant a cheater as they come, there's no doubt on if it was an accident, he just full on doped himself up to the brim. He even has almost all the benefits of him cheating after the "ban" is over.

Like @Guybino said, boxing is a joke.

while it should be absolute mandatory 2 years america is very week at enforcing drug bans in boxing .

but at the same time miller should not get meaningful fights and it would be good if tv blackballed him as well

but i suspect thats wishfull thinking on my part.

US boxing is a complete joke when it comes to anti-doping. 6 months for 3 failed tests and this isn't even his first offence, if he was a UK boxer UKAD would ban him for 2 years minimum for a 2nd offence.

So it’s still worth the risk of taking PEDs is what I’m hearing. Is it getting to the stage where not only the fighter should be held accountable, should somebody get hurt, but also the governing bodies that fail to act?

    Excessive penalty.

It's obvious the guy tripped over his feet in a pharmacy, fell into the store-room where a box full of anabolic steroids had been left open with the needles in the syringes.

Could happen to anybody. Hasn't he been punished enough?

    LEAVE BIG BABY ALONE!!!!

Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury was slapped with a two-year ban for nothing more than being guilty of being an outspoken gypsy who speaks truth to power and refuses to bend the knee. Dillian Whyte, Kid Galahad and British Olympian Muhammad Ali were also slapped with two-year bans for urinating dirty just once.

And Craig Windsor was hit with a 3 year and 9 month ban

'UK Anti-Doping has today confirmed that professional boxer Craig Windsor has been banned from sport for three years and nine months following an anti-doping rule violation.

Mr Windsor has been charged with possession of two prohibited substances and use of one based on non-analytical evidence that was obtained by UK Anti-Doping in January 2013.

On 17 April 2013, he admitted the following three anti-doping rule violations:

    · Use or attempted use of the anabolic steroid oxandrolone

    · Possession of oxandrolone

    · Possession of the anabolic steroid stanozolol.'

Miller is getting a slap on the wrist for being on every PED known to science

    Yo Big Baby Miller,
    The tribunal has met,
    To decide what if any,
    Punishment you will get,

    We've consulted together,
    All us wise old heads,
    To decide what to do,
    About your misuse of PEDS,

See you've brought our fair sport,
    Into much disrepute,
And your banning has cost us,
    Considerable loot,

    Did you really think that,
    The great WBA,
In the face of such actions,
    Would have nothing to say?

    So sadly Big Baby,
    We must firmly insist,
    That you are to receive,
    A slap on the wrist,

Someone could get killed in the ring by a cheater and the US authorities would do nothing of consequence.
