Look, there's Maskaev vs Peter, then Vitali getting his shot and Gomes vs Virchis to determine who's the mandatory.

    The rest is nonsense.

What, the list Ruskill put up?
That's just one he put together to list potential contenders, not an actual ratings chart.

Go to the WBC's official website and you can get a list of their Top 40 ranked fighters. Neither Toney nor Danny are on it.

Sad thing is, Maskaev could have fought Peter a whole year ago, but it was all held up because of all the BS around Vitali and a bunch of other things.

I hope that is a joke that williams and Toney are fighting for the WBC eliminator. Toney is so past done its rediculous. He has been caught multiple times for steroids and has done nothing to move back up. Neither has Williams. I guess theres still hope for Briggs to get another title shot yet.

    Gimme a break :rofl

    Make like Vitali stayed retired........

The WBC is still tied up with mandatory defense after mandatory defense.

I'll give you credit for trying to change the subject though! :good :yep

The WBC is a pretty screwed up orginaztion, the fact that there going to give a guy thats been out close to 4 years by that time, a title shot, is beyond me. Guys like Virchis, Gomez, even Golota are more deserving than Vitali at this point, I just hope Don King steps in doesnt allow Peter to fight Vitali, let him wait it out like he's been doing to other fighters all these years, it's only fair IMO

Im not convinced Wlad even wants the WBC, he wouldnt want to **** on his big brothers cornflakes.

Chagaev is an easier match to make and just as good at this stage.
