So if GGG, Ward, AJ, Loma, Kovalev, Frampton etc fought someone with this type of record they wouldn't face any backlash?. This is not to descredit Roman because this is a mandatory, the only thing is how does that record earn you a title shot.

He beat Salgado and kept busy since. Nothing wrong with that. There isn't much money in these lower divisions so you feast little and often.

Difference is though, these fighters don't get TV revenue. They aren't making big money so the expense of going through a full camp, with proper sparring partner etc, isn't logical.

Even Gonzalez was fighting bums to keep busy between fights before he got his HBO deal. The guy he fought before Sosa in his HBO debut for example had 29 losses.

I don't have a problem with keeping busy. A lot of contenders do that by fight 20-5, 15-2, 16-3 type guys you don't fight guys on their debuts I'm really shocked people defend some one 42-4 taking a debutant is that even safe?

Well people seem to think Mayweather fighting Conor McGregor making his debut is OK. Difference is, these Thai's aren't conning the public by putting it on PPV. Pongsalkek Wongjongkam was world champ and in the RING's pound for pound list and fought a few debubants even then.

Hence why I don't rate Gonzalez's resume highly, his clearly skilled but he has such few fights to make money against actual top guys he probably has to space them out in order to make enough money. The truth is so few guys can make these types of weights so the talent pool is so shallow but with that being sad Rungvisai resume is laughable.

Okay let's say I give him 10 bad names on his resume this guy has 2 recognisable names on his resume for goodness sake.

Sato and Salgado were top 10 fighters when Rungvisai beat them. That's at least 1 more top 10 fighter than Wilders beat. He was also giving Cuadras a tough fight two before a head clash

OK. Let's put you in the WBC position. List your top 5 at Super Fly. Bare in mind you can't choose these guys, as they are exempt from being ranked-

Kal Yafai, Naoya Inoue, Jerwin Ancajas, Kohei Kono

You think I'm gunna defend Wilders record lol its a joke, but let's be honest spilka has 1 loss, so did Scott and Stiverne when fought them. These aren't guys making their debut.

Why can't they be ranked the only ones with a belt in that list is Yafai and Ancas. Inoue, Estrada, Caudras, Concepcion and Casemiro could all be ranked at this current point unless they refuse the Vada CBP.

Inoue is the WBO champion. Kono was WBO mandatory. They can all be ranked but Concepcion and Cudaras is coming off a losses. And Estrada and Casimero have beaten nobody at the weight yet. So it's not really that ludicrous that Rungvisai is getting a shot is it?

Yeah. Gonzalez should've just vacated his title and promised the fight for late 2018 instead.

Do you know anything about the Thai boxing scene? This how it´s done there. Often these guys records are inaccurate to boot.
Wangek made his supposed debut vs Akira Yaegashi, losing by TKO in 3 rounds.
He is the former champ who beat another high ranked opponent. And he has held that WBC Asian belt which further gives him a kick in the rankings.
Fact is that he is rightfully where he is and that "padding" means nothing, except that he gets to put food on his table.

Like I said from the start this has nothing to do with his skills I don't know how good he is but if he is as good as you guys say then it's even more dangerous that he's fighting debutants he could seriously hurt one of these guys. How much money can a fight with a debutant bring you at this stage of your career?
