Respectfully, but politely, have to disagree on a few points here.

I was only pointing out the difference between the two fights. Having referees be biased isn't really something the fighters or referee can control. Low blows, elbows, excessive holding, rabbit punching and heat butts is.

If a fighter came in with tampered gloves would your answer just be "well maybe the other guy should have avoided being hit"? I'd wager no. It feels a bit shitty to put the onus on the victim of dirty tactics to somehow handle it imo.

End of the day look at where Parker and Whyte are now. There's a reason Whyte refused the rematch.

Yeah I don't think Parker or his team was properly prepared for the fight game as a whole. I think that is part of the reason why he has improved a whole lot now. A headbutt or some roughhouse tactics won't phase him like they did before.

I think he'd even take a biased ref in his stride and do the best he can these days.

The reason Whyte refused is because yes it was a risky rematch and he wasn't willing to risk his newly taken spot

Whyte was a decent contender at that point

He is where he is now because he is shot to pieces

That's crap but business, I. Mean there's no guarantee Parker would have offered a rematch if he had won

And cmon, a loaded glove is absolutely a different scenario and you know it
You've literally just used the most extreme scenario and applied it here

Plenty of boxers have had to overcome ridiculous odds when it comes to biased officials, Parker just didn't on that night

It's not right but that's how this stupid sport operates

Headbutt can be more damaging than a loaded glove. Seen it first hand cave someone's face in and give them permanent scarring.

Parker has always honored rematches, even being forced to endlessly wait for Zhang to make up his mind. He's often been given one way rematch clauses as well. I have no doubt he would have rematched Whyte, in fact I'd be more surprised if Whyte didn't have a one sided rematch clause like Joyce or Zhang.

I think Usyk vs Parker is the best match out there right now at heavy. Usyk looking slower whereas Parker looking more savvy and powerful than before. I think Usyk will win but it's closer to 50-50 than most people would admit.

Whilst he has, we'll never know because he was never in a position to find out
