Is that the knock down people are contesting though?

OK, your initial post didn't really state that

Regardless, Parker let himself get bullied and the loss is on him

We don't try to ignore what's clearly on video at the least, and you'll never see me make an excuse for a fight he legitimately lost.

Fact is Whyte is a dirty fighter and still nearly lost despite a headbutt and a-side advantage. Seeing people trying to defend Whyte is quite frankly laughable.

That's clearly not what we're referring to. Quit playing dumb.

Well I'm certainly not defending Whyte

But if a fighter brings it to you in that manner, it's the other fighters duty to respond accordingly

Parker didn't, now whilst that may be down to a concussion after the headbutt it's still part and parcel of dealing with the situation presented in the ring

He just couldn't do it on the night

I can't stand Whyte before anyone thinks I'm defending him

    It's a legit defeat

Nah, that's the ref not doing his job. Or are we gonna excuse every attempt at cheating now?

The ref was terrible yes but again that's what Parker took on fighting in the UK

He full well knew he wasn't getting any favours so he had to win clearly

Every fighter has had home advantage at some point

    Parker included (Ruiz)

You realize every fight on his own undercard that evening had similar shots and nobody stopped the fight ?

If this was a low blow severe enough to abort , you can abort every fight .

I was at the stadium. This statement is just plain false. But Dubois landed like 10 low blows during this fight and wasn't even warned.

The same shot landed in the Gatti vs Ward fight, and guess what, they aborted the fight. Low blows in tyson vs Ruddock were the same and fighters got their points deducted.

That was definitely a knockdown. There was a headbutt induced one much earlier in the fight

    I didn't deny the headbutt.

You can see the punch skim the top of Usyk's cup and actually move it in slow motion, definitely a low blow.

Don't recall Parker fouling against Ruiz.

And there's having an advantage via the scores cards vs allowing blatant cheating. There should be zero tolerance of it, and it shouldn't be on the victim to "somehow deal with it". Otherwise what's the point of having rules?

I don't recall saying Parker fouled either

I'm not defending what goes on

Also having an advantage on the cards is blatant cheating

Just highlighting boxers know what's in store and should do everything they can to win with the scenario presented

    Parker on that night didn't

It's crap but all fighters know it
