The WBSS super middle tournament lacks professionalism

    Cut them some slack, they're going to make improvements along the way, this is their first go at it. I don't see how you can get so wound up with the WBSS this soon, they've been the best thing about boxing this past year, from the champions league style draft in Monaco to the recent fights.

    It's become an absolute farce. Just postpone fights when fighters get injured, it's that simple.

    One of the biggest incentives for fighters to take part in the tournament is the final prize money which Kalle has consistently bigged up to be something really special. Groves has earned his chance to win that money winning two hard fought scraps and now just because he is injured, he may lose that opportunity to someone who hasn't had to do anything to be in the final? Totally farcical.
