Basically another article from David Haye's fan slagging of Klitshcko, but in a smart way, ill give you a credit for that. Yes, you right the division is not the strongest, but as long they keep dominating the division ill be happy and many other fans, and that’s what they will be remembered for. Two brothers, same division, dominating everyone for several years! Everyone has a weakness, Wlads weakness is his jaw and that’s why he gets critisised for mostly. Thats why hes defense is like that (trying not to get hit),not because he’s scared to get hit, but because he knows that he can go down

I bet you £1000 if Klitschkos were brittish you wouldn’t write this article and wouldn’t criticize Klitschkos at all

The Holmes and Tyson era were the worst, then by the mid 90's we had the best or second best era.

My grandfather said that the worst time for boxing is when Marciano retired. He said the HW division was left completely empty. He says there wasnt anyone on the scene until Liston, Patterson and Johansson matured.

He was also a big Joe Louis fan and told me when I was a young guy that people think all of Joe Louis comp was weak, but the fact to him was that Louis was just so great that he was knocking out guys so easily he was that far ahead of anyone else.

He rates Joe Louis as the greatest boxer ever, hard to argue against him!:good

Many view Shavers has the hardest punching heavyweights of all-time. We all remember Wlad being knocked out like that against a pretty good puncher in Sanders. Not to mention him being floored countless times by less than quality opponents.

Shavers was one of those interesting guys. He could be outboxed and decisioned by a A or even a B level fighter. But, put him in with a Can and he knocks em out in 1-2 rds. Shavers has one of the most padded records ever of a big puncher but you put the man in the ring and u better check your chin!!!!

He knocked out Norten, gave Holmes hell and almost knocked him out when he floored him late in the fight. Not to mention his close and very tough fight with Ali.

Shavers was a solid contender with the heaviest hands in the division at the time. Capable of knocking anyone out with one punch or being knocked out himself. Him and Lyle were two of the most dangerous fighters of that time not to win a title.

If Wlad and Vitali were not brothers and fought each other, the division would actually be kinda fun right now with haye in the picture as well.

:rofl Holmes embarrassed Shavers, he won every minute of every rd of that fight. have you ever even seen this fight? Other than the knockdown it was a very one sided boxing clinic.

The punch would of laid out most men, god knows wlad's glass chin would of shattered into a million pieces on contact. Holmes did beat Shavers the whole way through the fight, but one punch almost ended it for Holmes.

Larry Holmes is one of the most technically proficient boxers ever. I do not know how you got that conclusion from my post? If Larry carried a bit more pop in his hands he would be likely the greatest HW ever. He had the best HW jab ever, thats for sure, he was a dynamite combination puncher.
