You name me one fighter that has ever had that support overseas. Ever!

Boxing has never, and probably will never see support like that ever again

Say what you want about Hatton, he was limited but in his prime he was a monster at light welterweight and only lost to 2 HOF's

Thank you Ricky for some amazing nights, especially at the M.E.N. Ill never forget the Kosta fight

He stole Steve Foster's supporters and Manchester City FC's supporters.

He stole Man City fans?? The lad has supported City all his life, was very clever from himself and W****N to play on his Man City roots to attract such a support

And I know plenty of Man United and Liverpool fans who went to Vegas for the Castillo and Mayweather fights

    Have to agree with this.

I've no particular like/dislike for Hatton, but you've to admit it's almost a case where such fans are actually wasted on their fighter.

Such a shame he really had very poor boxing skills.

Have the people posting about Hatton even seen him fight? It's a hideous mauling style. There are far more polished 18 year old ams with higher ring IQ's who make Ricky "Hit and Hold" Hatton look like the low skill fighter he is.

Great showign by the fans. Mayweather was obviously the better guy but it was a nice moment. too bad that the away team couldn't pull of the huge upset.

I wish I had been there. Amazing atmosphere that Vegas may never see again.

Chad Dawson had more fans that travelled with him all the way to Canada!

Why do Brits feel the need to get approval from other nations (America in particular)?

Best you tell all the fcvking idiot Yanktards on here then to stop harping on about boring Borenard fvcking Hopkins for his pathetically tedious clinch, butt, hold, run, cry to the ref style then isn't it?

Erm, look at the thread title again. I think you'll find they are looking for bragging rights, not approval.

Hatton is just like Hopkins but has a fraction of the ring IQ and replaces headbutt with rabbit punch. Not to mention Hopkins is using an ugly style because he's ancient and not simply unskilled.

Classic. Us British don't care take over anywhere all bond together with loud singing. Brilliant patriotic loyalty!
