The current ambassador of the sport just happens to be one of the most exciting fighters in the world.

Great fights are constantly being made and promoters are starting to do their jobs once again by putting some money into their fights.

Mainstream internet outlets is giving boxing recognition and even ESPN is startiing to cover boxing once again.

Not every single big fight is on PPV. That will do wonders for the sport. Casual fans need to check out a big name every now and then.

    2009 so far

Mosley KO's Margarito-Sure plastergate was a black eye on the sport but it created some controversary and that gets people interested. It also helped that Mosley served up some justice with his fists.

Marquez KO's Diaz-A great fight where the former champion turned it on early with his exciting windmill style and barrage of punches until the current champion turned the tide with his accurate counterpunching and highlight reel KO.

Pacquiao KO's Hatton-Yeah the fight did not live up to its hype but Pacquiao sure lived up to his hype and creates an almost mythical buzz around his image now. Whatever fight he is in next weather it is Mosley, Mayweather, or JMM III it will be huge.

Young fighters like Khan are making a name and fighters with his personality you will tune in no matter what. To watch him succeed or get his ass kicked.

Exciting young talent like Gamboa, Lara, JuanMa, and Korobov have impressed with crowd pleasing KO wins.

The former p4p undefeated champion announced his return the day the annointed p4p defended his crown with a statement. This will make for some great coverage and great debates on who is the best of our generation and a possible megafight between them.

    Fights coming up

Chad Dawson vs Antonio Tarver 2-meh not really interested in this rematch but hey it is something and Dawson stays busy.

Andre Ward vs Edison Miranda-We will get to see if the Olympic Champion can take the step up in class and beat Miranda. If not at least we will get to see a quality Miranda KO.

Mabuza vs Perez-This should be a great bantamweight fight. Too bad it is not on Showtime or HBO. Hopefully we can find it somewhere online.

    Berto vs Urango

Cotto vs Clottey and Calderon vs Mayol on the same card

    Diaconau vs Pascal

Kiltschko vs Haye-Holy **** a heavyweight fight we can all get excited for, and it is not on PPV!

Mayweather vs Marquez-this fight just got a lot more interesting. I can't wait for it.

It's a great time to be a boxing fan. :D
